Which Sedan Should You Buy: 2021 Nissan Altima or 2021 Honda Accord?
As evident from the table above, both vehicles have an impressive array of trim levels. However, the major difference seems to be in the starting MSRP. While the 2021 Nissan Altima S will cost you around $24,550, the 2021 Honda Accord LX is a tad bit expensive. Therefore, if budget is a major constraint for you, then you are better off with the 2021 Nissan Altima.
Now, if we look at the engine specifications of the two sedans, they are quite impressive. The 2021 Nissan Altima S is equipped with a 2.5-liter Inline 4-cylinder engine that puts out 188 horsepower. On the other hand, the 2021 Honda Accord LX has a 1.5-liter Intercooled Turbo Inline 4-cylinder engine that generates 192 horsepower. Therefore, from the perspective of engine performance, the 2021 Honda Accord does seem to outmatch the 2021 Nissan Altima. However, when it comes to the fuel economy ratings, the 2021 Nissan Altima takes the cake. The 2021 Nissan Altima S has a highway fuel economy of 39 mpg, while that of the 2021 Honda Accord is 38 mpg.
Both sedans come with great infotainment and safety features. However, if all things are considered, we would put our money on the 2021 Nissan Altima as it emerges as the better choice between the two.
